For prerequisites and other general information, read docs/README.md.

For installing a fresh WIKINDX with a blank database, read docs/INSTALL.txt.

For upgrading from a previous installation of WIKINDX, read docs/UPGRADE.txt.

NB Read these documents carefully because manual operations may be
necessary to complete the installation or upgrade and to ensure the preservation
and security of your data.

Computers can crash and data can be lost. Backup, backup, backup (WIKINDX provides 
several plugins to accomplish this). It goes without saying that neither I nor 
WIKINDX can take responsibility....                                                      

There is no substitute for reading the complete bibliographic resource.
