Douglas Hofstadter (
Hofstadter 1997, p. 282) attire mon attention que ceci n’est pas, comme on pourrait le croire, une
édition du roman original de J. D. Salinger en 1951, mais — sans aucun avertissement ! — une
traduction de l’anglais de Salinger en anglais d’Angleterre. Non seulement l’orthographe est
anglicisée, mais même des mots sont remplacés.
